We uphold the historic catholic Faith in the Lutheran understanding, Apostolic Order, and the Evangelical Witness of the Lutheran Reformation as set forth in the Book of Concord. For us the received Faith and Traditions of the Church, and its teachings, by Faith alone, Grace alone, and Scripture alone, are binding. We maintain the historic threefold ordained ministry of Bishop, Priest, and Deacon, the Three Ecumenical Creeds (Apostles', Nicene, Athanasian), the writings of the doctors and bishops of the ancient Church, especially as defined in the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the Undivided Church.

Although we are an independent Lutheran body, our structure is similar to that of the Church of Sweden. We also share many principles and understandings with the Emglish District of The Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. We are international in scope, with communities of faith in North and South America, Europe and Asia

"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
